In gentle mornings you are safe.
Through slow glances of waking leaves
and soft whispers of the breeze within.
Your mind breathes lightly, your skin at ease.
Artist statement
My journey as an artist is a quest to capture the profound interplay between abstract forms and poetic expressions, creating works that transcend the conventional boundaries of art. Each painting I create is an intimate fusion of imagery and language, inviting viewers to delve into the layers of meaning and emotion that define the human experience.
Living between the serene Blue Ridge Mountains and the vibrant Yucatan Peninsula, I find myself endlessly inspired by these diverse landscapes. Their contrasting yet complementary beauty flows into my work, imbuing each piece with a sense of fluidity and depth. The dialogue between light, space, and emotion is a central theme in my paintings, reflecting the dynamic nature of the environments that surround me.
My art is more than a personal expression; it is a bridge for connection and dialogue. As the founder of the SHARE Foundation, I have dedicated my career to peace-building through expressive arts. My PhD in Anthropology has equipped me with a unique perspective, allowing me to merge expressive arts therapy with cultural anthropology. This innovative approach has touched the lives of over 300,000 individuals, fostering understanding and connection across diverse communities.
Exhibited at esteemed venues like the Gauge Gallery in Sydney, Australia, my work offers collectors and art enthusiasts an opportunity to acquire pieces that are not only visually captivating but also rich with poetic depth. Each painting is a testament to the intricate beauty and complexity of the human spirit, making it a cherished addition to any collection or exhibition.
I invite you to explore my art, where every piece is a gateway to a world where abstract visual elements and the written word come together to tell stories of beauty, emotion, and the human condition.
